Frequently Asked Questions

Curved brick retaining wall with steps leading to a dark porch.

What is concrete resurfacing?

Concrete resurfacing is the process of repairing and overlaying existing concrete with a new decorative surface. It’s a cost-effective way to refresh old or worn concrete without removing and replacing it.

Our resurfacing system is spray or trowel applied at approximately 3mm thick, creating a durable, textured and abrasion-resistant finish. Existing concrete must be structurally sound and at least 28 days old.

How much does it cost?

Every job is different, so the best way to get an accurate price is with an onsite colour consult and quote.

Pricing depends on:

  • Area size
  • Condition of the existing concrete
  • Repairs required
  • Access to the site
  • Colours and design selections

In most cases, resurfacing is more cost-effective than replacing concrete.

Can new concrete be sprayed?

Yes. New concrete must be at least 28 days old before resurfacing can be applied.

Resurfacing can be used on:

  • Driveways
  • Patios
  • Pathways
  • Pool surrounds
  • Outdoor entertaining areas

A wide range of colours, textures and finishes are available.

My concrete is old and faded. What can you do to fix it?

In many cases, yes. Concrete resurfacing is ideal for rejuvenating faded, stained or tired-looking concrete surfaces.

We can restore existing driveways, patios and pathways with a fresh modern finish without the cost of full replacement.

Is resurfaced concrete easy to maintain?

Yes. Decorative concrete is relatively low maintenance and we provide care instructions after completion.

Periodic resealing may be recommended over time to help maintain the appearance and durability of the surface.
